What is Craniosacral Therapy?
Craniosacral therapy is a gentle hands-on form of treatment which assists the body's natural abilities for self-repair.
It has been developed from western Osteopathy.
Craniosacral therapy works with the natural rhythms and
motions of the body. Physical injuries, emotional stress or trauma cause the body's tissues to contract
which can lead to discomfort, pain and disease.
These restrictions can be released through gentle touch,
bringing inherent vitality back to the area.
Sessions are deeply relaxing and allow you to let go of pain and trauma which may have been stored in your body.
Craniosacral therapy is usually given on a massage table
and the client remains fully clothed during the treatment.
After a first contact, I place my hands lightly on different body parts in order to locate areas of restriction or tissue motion.
By using specific techniques I help your body to relax and self-correct.
A treatment usually lasts 60 minutes and includes a consultation and a short rest period afterwards.
Please bring comfortable clothes and warm socks if needed
and look forward to a relaxing hour!
