Coming home to your body
Are you feeling stressed, anxious or overwhelmed?
If we experience a lot of stress, whether that’s at work or at home, our nervous system gets activated.
We feel tense, find it hard to relax and our thoughts are spinning in our heads.
In times of stress, we usually disconnect from our bodies. We loose touch with how we are and what we need.
It’s important that our nervous system relaxes again after a period of stress. If it stays activated for long periods of time, it can impact our health.

I recently started working with a method developed by Mihael Mamychshvili, a Shiatsu therapist based in Canada.
I use different techniques and acupressure points to help you relax on a physical as well as on a mental and spiritual level. I start with releasing around the heart and work with the vagus nerve and the diaphragm. As your muscles relax, your minds calms down as well.
It’s a wonderful method that actively includes you in the process. As one client put it, it feels “like coming home to your body”.
